Here's some neat pictures of daddy from the photo albums.
There were a lot of pictures of him on his horse.  There is a neat story about that horse. "Dusty"  When daddy was about 19 or so, he spent a whole summer working for guy on a ranch.  At the end of the summer, the guy said he could go catch a wild horse for his pay.  So he found this horse and tamed it.  When he went on his mission, he went and let it go again in the area where he caught it.  Then when he got home, he went back and found the same horse again and brought it home.  He loved that horse and had lots of good times with his buddies and their horses riding up in the mountains.

Daddy's first milk truck was a flat bed...hard to imagine hoisting those full cans up that high.  Daddy was the man!
Love this picture of him...looking back at the pictures of him over the years, he never really aged.  He  seemed to always look the same to me...strong, sturdy,  and handsome with that twinkle in his eye.   We came across a picture of him from 1995...the summer before he died.  He did look a bit older.  His hair was all grey, he was thinner  and was kind of bent over.   It kind of surprised me to see him like that, cause I always remember him like  he looked when he was younger.  (We found all of these medals he is wearing  here in his desk.
