Sunday afternoon, we went out to Suzie's for grampas birthday party.

Suzie and Renae made big pots of soup, I took a big salad and Michelle made rolls and a big chocolate cake.  Suzie made this carrot cake that was amazing!! 

It was good to catch up with Fred's family.  Their grand kids are all so grown up now...because of the age change, Savannah is now getting ready to serve a mission! 

 So glad that Suzie would adjust to have grampas party while my kids were here.  It was wonderful to have them all there for it! 

Grampa turned 93!  I know we are lucky to still have him here.  He fell last week while he was bringing the garbage cans in. He hit his head pretty hard.  He was able to get up and get in the house though.   His neck and back have been hurting quite a bit.  When we went over there on his birthday though, his mind was clear and he seemed pretty good.  Pat on the other hand is not so good. He looks like he has aged 10 years in the past year.  He is really out of it from the medications he is taking.  Breaks my heart to see him going down hill like this.
