Last summer we noticed our garden wall was leaning a bit.  It got worse as the time went by so we started planning on replacing it.  We wanted to have the new wall up in time to put the garden in so  we figured we had about a month to get it done.
We liked the rock we were able to get from Red's Canyon when we did the rock garden so we decided to go back down there again.
We left early last Friday morning (it's about a 4 hour drive...way out in the boonies) then stopped and picked up a permit at the BLM there in Price.  (Kelley actually bought three permits cause he knew we would be taking a lot of rock out of there!)  Then we turned off onto I-70 and drove for what seemed like forever.  Then we turned off onto a dirt road and went quite a ways farther. (Gosh I'm glad Kelley knows where he is going.  We would still be wandering in the wilderness if I was driving.) When we got down into this canyon, it seemed kind of familiar and we were able to go back to the same area where we picked up the rock before.
Can I just say these two are amazingly strong!  They were lifting some really big rocks.  I put some small ones in the trailer, but mostly I was just along for the ride and to find the good looking rocks....yes Kelley said they didn't need a dog to point out the  good rocks because they had me....not sure how to take that.

Water is powerful!  Amazed at the way these huge rocks were tumbled into this pile against this tree.
This was a cool rock.  It looked just like Shrek!  There were so many incredible rock formations...it was really neat to see!

Hercules!
