We have been chomping at the bit to get up into the mountains, so Katie and I decided to go for a hike Tuesday morning.  Candice was going to come with us too but wasn't feeling very good because she hadn't slept much the night before.

We decided on a trail called Rattlesnake Gulch.  It was up Millcreek canyon and was really beautiful! 

We headed up there early and it was the perfect temperature for a hike.  

it was a pretty good climb for the first little while, then it flattened out a bit and I could breath again!

 Everything is so green! and with the mountain peaks still covered  in snow, it was an incredible sight!

 Kate was sporting one of the cute tops Michelle had done with their logo on it.

We took a few pictures in the mountains with an art piece just for a little variety to her posts.

 

The river is really raging right now with the warm temperatures and so much snow that needs to come down.  Couldn't have asked for a better day or a nicer hike.  Looking forward to many more days spent in the mountains this summer!  We are so blessed to live right next to all this beauty!
