The sunrises and sunsets are just breathtaking.  It took me a while to get used to the sun coming up over the water and going down behind the mountains...just feels backwards.
Jimmy flew in on Wednesday.  His experience getting a passport was almost laughable if it wouldn't have been so tragic.  He didn't realize he needed a passport to get into Mexico because the last time he went there, it wasn't required, so he was trying to acquire one in 3 days.  Ha!  I didn't even realize it was possible but I guess if you go directly to the federal building and apply for one, they can expedite it and you can get it the same day.  So Jimmy went up to LA Monday morning and waited in line all morning, only to be told they had taken all they would for that day.  So the next morning, he stayed in LA so he could be at the first of the line.  He felt pretty good about it cause he was number 5.  When he got up there the lady told him he had to have a plane ticket to show them he had to have the pass port pronto.  He had it on his phone but they said no way, it has to be a printed ticket.  So he ran to kinkos and printed out his ticket and then had to get back in line again.  He made it up to the front of the line and after some words with the lady in charge there, finally got his passport.
Edwardo was a sweetheart and picked him up at the airport and brought him to Marks.
Later that day we decided to go to Puente Pescadero.  It's a fun little drive with views like this all the way

We hunted for shells, but you really don't have to hunt at all.  There are so many shells, you just walk along and pick up your favorite ones.
Jimmy was out snorkeling and we were walking down the beach until we couldn't go any farther cause there were big rocks in the way.  So we just got in the water and swam around them.  The water was seriously so warm, it was like bath water.
Swimming in the ocean has always kind of freaked me out...just thinking about what other things are swimming with me, but on this day, it didn't bother me at all and we swam and played in the water till the sun started going down.

On the way home we had this amazing sunset to take in.  A real good day!
