The Best things in Life are worth waiting for...

Well Brian finally took the leap.

Married to Hollie Hogan May 15, 2008.

Seems as though after many years of waiting and searching, the stars aligned and this perfect couple came together.

We couldn't be happier for them.

The wedding was at La Caille and it was absolutely beautiful.

Driving up the drive way is like entering a magical world. Like someplace you would see in Alice in Wonderland. Bunnies, peacocks and roosters just wandering around. The flowers were unbelievable. Probably one of the most beautiful places I have seen.

Kate flew in Friday night for the wedding. Her and Brian have always been close and she was so happy that he has found someone to share his life with.

She was a lovely bride and they both looked so happy!

This was a little stitchery I did for them.

Candice gave us the saying, Kate drew it out and I stitched it.

Good job team!

Hollie's Bishop married them and did a good job. He gave them some good advice. Always great to hear those reminders of how we should all be treating the one's we love.

There was a little time between the wedding and the luncheon. We enjoyed visiting with family, walking around the grounds and hitting some golf balls. Then they brought around some wonderful appetizers...coconut shrimp, bruschetta, lemonade.

Kelley did a Happy Gilmore swing that landed the ball right on the putting green. Really??? It was clear on the other side of the grounds! He doesn't even like to golf! Maybe he should re-think that.

Sure do love my girls. They are each so unique and special in their own way. If you were just looking at their personalities, you would never know they were sisters. They are each so different! They each have their own talents and gifts and it's pretty cool to watch them as they share these gifts with the people around them. I love how they are friendly and open with people and always fun to be around....not afraid to be their selves!

Sometimes when I see how much they value their relationships with their cousins and family, and see the love that they have for them, I am just really proud of the people they have grown up to be and feel honored to be their mom. After a while, we all went inside this coolest building that was all glass with flowering plants growing everywhere...all over the ceiling..little pink flowers and vines...it looked like something out of the movies.

We had a delicious dinner...rolls, salad, chicken, asparagus, potatoes, carrots, beef on skewers, then an array of every kind of pastry, tart, eclair, chocolate strawberries, little chocolate cups filled with this wonderful pink fluffy stuff. And if that wasn't enough, there was cake. Olivia was well behaved and very adorable. She was happy to explore this beautiful place with her cousins Maya and Sadie, and Lauren.
It was pretty cute to see the three of them all skipping around holding hands. We were smelling the petals on the table and Candice found this to be the easiest way to get the full effect of the smell.

We had to have a little talk with Olivia about sticking things up your nose as she was just taking this all in...She thinks what ever Chewey does is about the coolest thing that ever. The flowers were pretty amazing. They used the most beautiful pink and white flowers...roses, tulips, rananculus, stock, cali lily..so pretty and smelled heavenly!

Dancing with Grampa is the best!

What a fun day! Thanks for letting us share it with you! We love You!
