Tuesday night, Kelley and I went with the Young Women and Young Men to Temple square.
Here's a few pictures...bad phone camera pictures, but you get the idea.
One of the girls had never been to Temple Square before so it was a neat experience for her. I think we all enjoyed our time there.
I always enjoy visiting this room. There is a reverent, sacred feeling in the room and everyone feels it and is quieted as soon as they enter here. When you look up at the Savior's face and his outstretched hands, it's amazing! You can truly feel His love!
These two sister missionaries were our tour guides.
One from Arizona, and the other from Japan.
They were really sweet with the girls and bore powerful testimonies of the restoration of the gospel, Joseph Smith, and missionary work.
They took us in the tabernacle and talked about all the things that went on there. They asked the girls if they had a favorite talk that they remember from last General Conference. We were not in Utah for the last conference and I sure missed hearing them speak. I read the talks later, but it's not like hearing their words and guidance right from their mouths!
I love Conference time . We usually try to be at mom's for that weekend so we can watch with her. We try to get a little yard work done between sessions on Saturday too if weather permits.
I love the feeling of sitting there watching conference with my family, I don't know what it is, but it feels warm, secure, peaceful and happy.

We went into the theater in the visitors center and all the sister missionaries put on a real neat program for us. There were sisters from all over the world and they bore sweet testimonies of how they had heard about the church and had been converted. Then they had us all sing "Called to Serve" with them. (can't do it without bawling!) They finished with a verse they had made up talking about all the different countries they had come from...but the gospel was still the same where ever you go!

The Temple looked so beautiful!

Last night, the sister missionaries from our stake had dinner with us. It was a great experience for us to be with them.
One was from Mongolia...had just been out 3 months, so she is still working on the English.
The other one is from California. They have done some great work in our stake. There is a family in our ward that they have been working with that has agreed to be baptized and they had an appointment with them last night, so they couldn't stay too long.
They left us with a great message about faith.
I so admire the faith of these young sisters. The light of Christ shines in their faces as they confidently testify of this most important principle....with faith, miracles happen!

Hey guys,
This was a really quick week, I can’t believe its Wednesday again. We had a really neat week. We had a good meeting with our Branch President and an investigator who has a wife and 3 kids, I really hope we can help him find the truth. And we had another meeting with this really neat investigator family. They all speak English, so we had a family home evening at one of our senior couple’s homes. In the family there is a woman and a son who is 19 and one who is 8. The 8 year old stood up and told us the story of David and goliath all in English, he’s way smart. And then the other son played the guitar, he was incredible. The best I’ve ever seen. Then the little boy played the violin and the older one played the guitar and the Mom sang a little and it was so great. I’m hoping we can help them find the truth too. We have been meeting with Aleksei almost every day, and he is just loving the gospel. He really wanted the teachings of Joseph Smith book so I talked to the mission leader and he got him a whole bunch of those books, he was excited. He just loves the truth and can tell when he hears it or reads it. I really want him to be baptized and he does to, but he is moving back to Moldova to a city where there is no branch right now. So that’s kind of scary to have him baptized and then just leave him on his own. I don’t know what to do. But we will figure it out with the Lords help. I found out yesterday that I am going to be with Elder Grover for another 6 weeks. I am going to Kieve on Monday too, can’t believe it’s already been 3 months. Last night we went to the theater. It was really interesting; the show was way funny even though I understood only in little parts. And Aleksei came with us so that was way cool. We wanted to do something nice for him because he has no money and all he does is meet with us and work and read the Church stuff...and maybe some Kung Fu some times. All good stuff of course, but it was good to give him something fun to do.
Love you guys, I really am doing great and I know that this is truly the Lords work.
Love Elder Jensen
