You know what was really great?  Camille and her family came to visit for a week right after we got home!  The kids had spring break and I was so thrilled they could spend it with us!
Lizzy was way excited too!

?

Kelley wanted to get the tomatoes replanted right away.  I was so glad we had a week of really nice weather!  Pretty unusual for early March.

Crocus were blooming like crazy...aren't they the cutest?

Meg came over with her new little guy so he could meet Jonas.  He's such a sweet, easygoing, happy baby!

We flew into Arizona because we had the car there.   It was so good to see Camille's bunch.  Jonas has grown so much.  He's the cutest little guy and so sweet.

We went right to that cute nursery on the way home to get some tomato plants to take home.  They didn't have the same ones we had looked at before, so we went to Walmart.  They had a great garden section with some good looking tomatoes so we bought a bunch there.
They were having a neighborhood bbq that night, so we got together a salad, Kellen did some chicken and steaks and we headed over to their little park.  It's nice to have it so close they can just walk a little way to it.  There was quite a few people there too.  They have some real nice neighbors.  Tara made this dessert called pavlova that was just about the best thing i ever ate!  I had to get the recipe from her so I could try that at home!
Jonas was really fussy though so I went back to their house to get a binky and get him settled down. When I took him back, he was still kind of fussy.  Camille put the burp cloth over his face and he was perfectly happy after that.   Ha!

Arizona has some pretty incredible sunsets too
We got up early Sunday morning, got all packed up and headed out.  Everything was sure green.  I don't think I have seen the dessert like that before.  It was real pretty.

We made it home in pretty good time.  It was so nice to come home to a clean house and dinner cooking!  I can't even express how much I appreciate KC!  He stayed at the house the whole time we were gone and took care of everything!  Candice helped out a lot too while KC was in Arizona for the baby blessing.  She is so great to take care of Lizzy. She will run and play with her and love her.  Our good neighbors really helped out too.  Stacy and Toby are always so sweet to help with the chickens or Lizzy when we need them.  It was pretty crappy weather here while we were gone too so I know it was no picnic coming over here in the freezing cold.  We're surely blessed to have such wonderful friends that you know you can always count on.

Project # 2
Mark wanted to put this epoxy stuff down on his garage floor. It was a pretty big job because Marks garage huge!  First they had to move everything from one side of the garage to the other so they could put the epoxy down in two phases. Next they clean the floor real good.  Then they put this acid stuff on the cement that kind of breaks it down so the epoxy will stick to it.  Then finally Kelley mixed the epoxy and spreads it all over the floor.
It was a lot of work.  Kelley is about the hardest working guy I know.

Just had to document the amazingly beautiful things growing in Marks yard...I mean really have you ever seen such a huge hibiscus bloom?

We went for a ride on the beach and watched the kite surfers for a while.  This is the best time for them because it's so windy!!!    It's got to be really hard, but these people  are so good they make it look easy!

We had to make one last stop at the thrifty store for an ice cream cone.  Yup, I ate 5 pounds worth of ice cream cones while we were there...no regrets.

This is my life people...wouldn't trade it or him for anything.  He keeps me laughing every day.

Last evening in Los Barrillis...thats the moon coming up over the ocean...
Kate got a great picture the next night when the moon was full
We made a run down to the bakery for scones, (they were also key in my weight gain) and came back and finished up packing.  Then I had to take a few more pictures of these incredibly beautiful flowers.
We were lucky to get Eduardo from Martines place to take us to the airport.  There were not any shuttles that went early enough for us to catch our plane. He was great and came right up to Marks to pick us up.

Oh man it was hard to leave!  It was such a wonderful time, sometimes I would just have to pinch myself to believe it's real.  Feeling very grateful for great memories made with my sweetheart, family and friends that I'll treasure forever.
Adios  beautiful Mexico...till next time!
