When Kelley and Katie did the Salt and Honey market last fall, it was a pretty good experience so they decided to do their spring time market too.
They worked like crazy making shelves, air fern holders, planter boxes with succulents, and art pieces.
We picked up a bunch of succulents when we were in Califonia
Happy helpers with the planting!
KC, and Kelley drove over with the truck loaded and Katie and I drove in the car loaded to the roof.
They got a better space this time. It was two booths on the side that were close to the front.
Candice came over and helped too!
Paul had been over the day before and totally organized and packed up all the air ferns for Katie. He's kind of a peach.
After a little arranging and rearranging, it looked really nice1
Katie and I went over after the first day and did some restocking. There were some really cute booths there so we shopped around and and got a few things for KC's birthday. Katie went to Lake Powel with Paul for the weekend so Kelley, KC and I went over and took everything down. It looked like they sold quite a bit. If nothing else, so many people saw their work and really seemed to like it. They got several orders for custom pieces from it so it was worth all the work.
I'm just so proud of them! They have worked so hard (its not easy starting a small business!) both suffered several hand wounds, put up with each others stubbornness and little quirks, grown closer than ever, learned a lot, and have built a great little business out of nothing.
