Ok, just one more sunrise.  Seriously it was just so beautiful looking out over the ocean from the top of Marks new garage  (which is bigger than his house, complete with bedroom, bathroom and  palapa on the upper level, not to mention the huge garage below, big enough to hold all his boats and everything else he wants to lock up. He has built himself quite a little palace.

We did real good with the sunscreen this time.  No burns!  (well KC had a few spots that he missed but nothing serious)  Hooray!

We drove down to Puente Pescadaro one day and had a great time snorkeling around.  There was a lot of beautiful fish to see.  I love snorkeling!  It's like going into a whole new world!  I was wishing I had an underwater camera so I could take pictures of all the amazing fish.
We took the fishing poles down there but after we saw the beautiful fish when we were snorkeling, there was no way we wanted to catch one!

Ha ha that's KC's spot he missed with the sunscreen.

Mark and TA came down there for a while and suggested we take "The road to nowhere" on the way home and that's  pretty much what it was!  It was a paved road (which is pretty rare except right on main street)  It took us winding through the mountain and it felt like it would never end, but then we came out here looking out over the ocean.
This is what Mexico looks like when you get away from the water.  It's  pretty desolate.  I was pretty surprised the first time I went there to see how the  landscape changed from crusty dirt and gnarly dead looking trees to lush green flowering plants and palm trees the closer we got to the ocean.  It was the same when we go up the canyon there.  It is all bare and rocky until you get close to where there is water.  Then it's like a little oasis with huge tropical plants and palm trees.  Gosh, isn't the world amazing?
