We got to spend a fun couple of days with Keli and Bob last week.  They had been visiting Jason  and his wife in Colorado and drove down here to
spend a few days with us.
They got here Wednesday evening.  We had dinner together, then sat and visited till it was time for bed.  Thursday we decided to take them up fishing.  I was so glad the leaves were still on and were pretty spectacular!  It was a real nice warm day...couldn't have asked for any better!

We stopped at the ranger station to see if the salmon were spawning and they were!  It's interesting and kind of sad to watch them swimming upstream to lay their eggs.  They mostly just seem to be getting nowhere.

It was windy but not cold when we got out on the lake.  Kelley caught the first fish, then I caught a couple.  Keli Ann caught three.  Her and Bob are great company and we had a fun fishing with them.

You can't tell very well, but there were some deer that came down to the water here.  It's deer hunting season now and there were hunters in all the campgrounds around the lake.  I really don't know how people can shoot these beautiful animals.

It started getting really windy later in the afternoon and some dark clouds were gathering too so we decided to call it a day.  Just as we were pulling the boat in, it started to rain.  Kelley was having a heck of a time getting the boat in cause the wind was so bad, but with everyone's help, we finally wrangled it in.
When we got home, the rest of the family joined us for a nice dinner at Texas Road house.
