Christmas Morning..so fun with the kids.  That's what makes Christmas great is watching the excitement  and wonder in their faces.  Olivia is so sweet and grateful for everything she gets and Sam was just so excited  about the snowman Pez he got in his stocking that he didn't want to look at anything else.  We really had to coax him to open another present.  Then he opened this little wood toy that launches balls he was pretty excited about that.  We found it at Swiss days and thought it was pretty neat.

Candice stitched me this beautiful picture.  That sure meant the world to me...looks a lot like the old cuckoo clock that hung in mum and daddy's place...and Kelley made the frame from their old fence.  wow how special is that?  I couldn't hold the tears in.
Just feel so blessed to have these wonderful kids.  They are each so special and unique and bring so much love and happiness to our family.  I love the amazing people they have grown up to be.

Olivia got a cool new bike

Candice in her cute new jammies
KC building a fire...we weren't able to have one for a while because of the dumb inversion so this sure felt good.

This was the coolest thing...Katie and Candice had been working on this for a while...
When we were cleaning out Kelley's dads house we found boxes and boxes of old letters that Maxine and Lisle had written to each other when he was in the war.  They were so interesting to read...I saw a whole different side of them that I didn't even know was there.  Well Candice had gone through a bunch of them and picked out some real good ones and scanned them and made them into this book.  That is something we will treasure.

Olivia couldn't wait to ride her new bike so we got her bundled up and let her go out in the circle.  She has just recently given up the training wheels and now sails along like a champ.
