We just had the nicest weekend.  Camille flew into the Provo airport Thursday after noon. ( she tried out the  new Allegent airline that just flys into Prove and Ogden.  She said it was great...I'll have to use it next time...so much cheaper, but you have to drive to Provo)
Camille came for Keelee's wedding which was on Friday, ( she left the kids home with Kellen...he is a champ!...gave Camille a much needed rest before the new baby comes!)
So happy for Keelee.  She has been through some pretty rough times and deserves some happiness.
Katie came into town on Friday so it was really a happy reunion.  They haven't  all been home since
Thanksgiving.  That is not OK.
Anyway, Camille and I went shopping a bit cause I was looking for some patio furniture.  Our old wicker stuff was just too sad to try to paint again.  So we went around to a bunch of different places but didn't see anything we were crazy about.  Then we went out to Smith Marketplace.  I always like their flowers and their garden department.  We both fell in love with this big swing as soon as we walked in there.  They had a table and chair set too that was real nice.  So I took a picture and sent it to Kelley to see what he thought.  He seemed to like it too so we had him come out with his truck to get it. Camille and I tried really hard to get the guy that was helping us to come out and assemble it for us..hated having to tell Kelley it did NOT come assembled. ( it's pretty much his worst thing)
KC and Camille decided to try to put it together cause Kelley was busy with some other stuff. They got all the parts out...there were a lot of parts...just for the table!  But when they started putting it together, they didn't have any of the right screws.  Everything was labeled nicely, but the screws they needed for the table just weren't there. So they used screws that were supposed to be for the chairs.  Did not work out great.  Plus where they laid the glass for the table on the lawn, it totally killed it.  It wasn't there more than 45 minutes, but I guess the reflection just burned it up.  Ha!  Not really that funny though cause we were going to have a little barbecue Saturday with a bunch of friends and there was this big square dead spot on the lawn.  We watered the heck out of it, but to no avail. (Oh well, it didn't matter, we just covered it up with a table)

When Kelley got home, he assessed the situation, then started going through all the boxes looking for the right screws.  They just werent' there.  then they moved the big box the glass had come in and they were under there.
So Kelley and KC took the table apart and began again with the right screws.  It really was a huge job putting everything together.  It took all afternoon.  Seriously.  How do people who don't have handy husbands and sons get things like this done?  I am so grateful to them!

Kelley and KC got the yard all spiffed up, cleaned out the chicken coop and planted a bunch of tomatoes Saturday morning.  It amazes me how much he can get done...He also cleaned out the irrigation pipe cart, built an end on it, then filled it with nice potting soil so I could plant the geraniums I have been nursing along all winter. Turned out pretty cute!
All of us girls went shopping Saturday morning for the food for our barbecue. It was just so fun to  wander around Costco laughing and sampling and just enjoying being together.  I miss being able to do things simple little things like this with my girls.
We came home and got busy baking and getting the food ready.  The girls really took over with the kabobs and did a great job!
Candice cutting the onions...my cute girls

We decided to have the barbecue kind of early because Jimmy had to leave about 7.  It was fun to have Curtis and his kids there.  His daughter Lela brought a friend with her. Benny is just a little cutie...he stayed with Candice after everyone else left and was just a good little kid.  KC played farm with him while Candice Katie and Camille suddenly disappeared ( secret mission!)
Northrup's were planning on being home from St. George in time to make it to the party, but stopped to help some people  whose car had broke down. ( always do-gooders!) Anyway, Brenda called and said they weren't going to be able to make it.    It was fun to have Reynolds, Blymillers and Wrights come.  We don't get to see each other very often so it was nice to have the time to just sit and visit.  Everybody brought something to help with the dinner so that made it easy.

It got kind of chilly so Kelley built a fire in the fire pit and we made s'mores

So this was the secret mission...pretty much the sweetest idea ever.  Saturday night after everyone left, these three went over to grampas to get this cute donkey.  I can't imagine how they ever lifted it...its got to weigh 200 pounds.   This donkey holds a special place in all of our hearts because it belonged to grandma...just part of the Jensen family.

KC went out and helped them put it in the garden that night, so  Sunday morning we had this nice (Kelley's birthday, Mothers day) surprise.
It was so nice to have the Katie and Camille and KC at church with us on Sunday. And how special when Katie bore her sweet testimony.  So proud of her and the amazing, beautiful, spiritual woman she has grown to be.
Everyone was wiped out after church.
Kate touched up Camille's lashes and totally redid mine. Thank you thank you Katie!
We all drove down to Provo to take Camille to the airport together....felt like nobody wanted to let her go.  She is just a joy to be with.
On the way to take Katie to the airport, we stopped over at the little brown house so she could see it.  Wish she was here to help with the remodeling and decorating.  She has a good eye for things like that and has her own place fixed up so cute.  Pretty rough letting Kate leave too.  Kelley and I were talking after about how great it is when we are all together like that.  I hope someday, that could be how our lives are...all together again.
