We had such a nice 4th of July.  The kids had been swimming over at Blymillers in their pool, then we made some killer K bobs and barbqued.  I made some ice cream and Camille made a  yummy strawberry cake.  After dinner, We got together with the Blymillers and did some fireworks.  Kellen and Camille had bought some good ones  and he did all of those and the kids all loved the sparklers.  Emily wasn't one bit afraid of them  and danced around with all the kids.

There were huge fireworks going on all around us  so we got quite  the show just sitting on the back porch.

The kids all get along great and had fun together.  Love these dear friends of ours. 

 Sam has improved 100 percent since last year.  He was so afraid of the fireworks noise, he wouldn't even come out of the house.  Now he does just fine with them and was having a ball running around with the kids.

It was a perfect night.  A quick rainstorm had come through around dinner time and had cooled everything down to a real pleasant temperature.

Getting to be with the family for the holiday sure is wonderful. I wish it could be like this all the time.
