These posts are all over the place and I'm still working on setting up this new computer so It's kind of a big mess, but I'm going to just power through and keep going instead of waiting till it's just the way I want it before I post anything...that's what got me into this trying to catch up pickle.
So  few things from the past few days..
On Tuesday, the sisters were able to get together and go to the temple.  We had such a nice day.  We decided to go to the Ogden Temple since the Brigham Temple requires reservations.  It was so beautiful since it has been remodeled.  That was the temple Kelley and I  took our own endowments out at thirty seven years ago. It brought back a flood of memories to walk through that temple again.  Even though it is remodeled, it seemed really familiar  and I remembered the last time I was there like it was yesterday.
I was pretty unprepared, but back then they didn't do a temple prep class or really even talk to you much about what it would be like.  I was so nervous that I wouldn't remember what I was supposed to remember and that I would do something wrong.
I was so glad I had mum there to help me, and there were kind little grandma's around every corner waiting to help you too.  It went by like a blur...I wasn't able to even begin to take in everything that was happening and was pretty overwhelmed by the whole thing.
I had a million different thoughts going through my head and a lot of questions.
A few days later, Kelley and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple.  That was a completely different and wonderful experience. (other than being separated from my mom and not being able to find her till right before they started the ceremony)
We were escorted into a beautiful sealing room and sat between both of our mothers.  All the chairs in the room were filled with people we loved. He had us come kneel at the alter facing each other.  Behind each of us was a huge mirror, so when we looked into them, it looked like it went on forever.
A kind man named Richard Davies did our sealing.  He talked to us for a while before he married us.  I remember one thing that stood out to me was when he said that a sure way to a happy marriage is to always try to outdo each other with kindness.
I have sure found that to be true. Over the past 37 years, we have tried to make this just be the way we live.  We have had our ups and downs for sure, but  He treats me like his queen and I try to do the same for him.  I sure lucked out when I got this good man to spend forever with.

After, we went to Applebees and had lunch, then had a little birthday celebration for Leslie.  We had such a nice time just visiting and catching up on each others lives.  I feel so blessed to have these wonderful sisters in my life.  I always come home from our get togethers with my heart so full.
