This has got to be one of my very favorite times up at Strawberry.  We had gone up the day before with Dan and had really had a good day fishing.  The boat was running pretty bad though.  It would start out and go along just fine, then it would cut out and go slower and slower, then finally kill.  They couldn't figure why it was doing this cause Kevin had just gone up there and replaced a hose and put this pump thing on there that was supposed to get it running good.  The guys would work with the new pump thing and it would drive good for a minute, then it would cut out again.  We were going along pretty good moving to a new spot and it just stopped completely.  they went back there and found the hose had pretty much disintegrated.  The hose they had put on was one that this guy from the marina had given them, but it was not the right kind of hose.  The gasoline on it had just dissolved the hose and gas was leaking all over the place.  They taped it up and we limped into the dock.    By the time we got in there, it was leaking gas again and smelled really strong.  We were pretty glad we had made it into the dock.
Kelley told Jimmy what had happened and he said  he would come up and take a look at it.  They brought all the new hose and tools and everything they would need to fix it.  They put the new hose on in no time and we headed out to fish.  It started out running good, but then would slow down again. It would pick up again and speed up so we just kept going.  After we drove for a while, it would go along just fine.  They are thinking the bulb Kevin put on there causes it to lose pressure so I think they will be taking that off.
Camille and her family and Candice were waiting to see if we got the boat going before they drove up there so I text her and told her it was running ok.  They headed up and got there about two.  We had been catching so many fish we ran out of worms so they  picked some up on the way up there.

Kate was a fish catching machine

Everyone was catching and they were pretty good sized ones

Jimmy'd nephew was a cute guy and super excited about fishing.

It was such a nice day, everyone was jumping in the water to cool off.  Emily was not one bit afraid of the water.  She wanted grampa  to hold her with her feet in the water and wasn't happy at all when he would take her out of the water.  So he just held her like that.

I wanted to get a picture of our whole family on the boat...that was a rare moment with us all there together.  It was such a fun day.  Having everyone together like this is heaven for me.
