Just a few random things from the past week...
Candice has been asked by a cute vintage store Maeberry Vintage to be the featured artist at their store this month! This is so exciting! The owner of the store saw Candices work online and contacted her. Candice has been working hard to get a bunch of her favorite ones done to hang in the store. I am just so proud of her!
The rock garden is so pretty right now Everything is blooming like crazy. These lily's are about 6 feet tall!
A few months ago, Tina mentioned to me that her school class was hatching some chicks. She wondered if we would like to have them after they hatch. So while we were in Mexico, she brought them over. Camille was at our house so she took them in and got them situated till we got home. They were just the cutest little fluff balls and the grandkids were crazy about them.
They were fine in the box she brought them over in for a few weeks, then they started getting really crowded. Kelley wrangled a cage on the patio out of chicken wire and that did for a while. They outgrew that and Kelley built a cage back by the chicken coop where the teenage chickens have been for the past few weeks. They are so cute. They look like the chickens we used to have at home. All white ones. We ended up with one rooster. I'm not sure what we'll do with him in the future... I don't think we are supposed to have a rooster in our neighborhood because they are so noisy...right now he's just fine
This little bug has just got my heart wrapped around her little finger. She is the sweetest little gal and just a joy to be around. She is super snuggly and will always lay her head on your shoulder when you pick her up. She loves to touch your moles (ha she has been doing this since she was a baby and would really pick at Camille's till they would bleed...but now she just tickles your arm.) She has the sweetest little voice and repeats most everything you say. She is talking really good now and says the funniest things. She has the sweetest personality and is quite a character. She reminds me a lot of Camille when she was her age.
We took the young women swimming at the Taylorsville pool last week. Camilles's family came over too so we had a good time just sitting and visiting with Tina. She is such a great friend. I have sure enjoyed being able to have her in yw with us. She gets along so well with the girls. She makes a special effort to talk one on one with each one and really get to know them. They all love her.
