We got all packed up and ready to head to California Thursday night so we could take off Friday morning.  Liv was entertaining Emily while we got things loaded.  She is such a good helper and is so good with Emily. She's always  looking out for her and making her laugh and Emily adores her.

 Ready for the beach
Can't get enough snuggles from this little sweetie.  I love how she will lay her head down on you and just snuggle right up.
The drive to California went pretty smooth.  The kids were good Emily was an angel.  She slept, then I'd feed her,(this new baby food that comes in a squirt container has got to be one of the best inventions ever!) then she would watch Sam and Liv, then she'd doze off again.
We went to our hotel when we got there and Kelley and KC came over soon after.
The next day was moving day for Katie.  Kelley and KC had been there all week helping her pack everything up.  She has a lot of stuff.  We took a load of things she was taking to her new place and helped her get everything into apartment.   She is moving in with a guy from her ward that has an extra room.  He said she could stay there as long as she needs to...she's planning on moving in with Camille later this summer.
We met the guy, his name is Landon, and he is really nice.  He helped us carry all of Katie's things up to her room.

Then we went over to Stacey's to pick up the trailer so we could load up the rest of Katie's things to take home.  We got these lemons off her tree...they were huge!

We loaded all the rest of Katie's things into the back of the truck and the trailer and when I say we, I mean Kelley and KC carried all the heavy stuff...Katie and I finished packing up all the odds and ends and carried out lighter stuff.  It was kind of sad seeing her leave that place.  It's such a beautiful neighborhood and a pretty sweet view off her back porch.  The little apartment was real nice and just right for one person too...just so darn expensive.  I also never liked her living alone.  I think this move will be good for her.

Goodbye Cliff drive
