I am feeling pretty spoiled because I've been able to be with Camille's sweet little family the last three weeks.  Plus Kelley and I were able to spend a week with Katie too!  It started off with an extra fun weekend with Candice and Katie there in Arizona too.  Candice and I flew in together on Aligent (together is so much funner!)  Katie drove in with some friends Friday night and we picked her up Saturday morning.  When we got there, it was just about time for Olivia's baseball practice so we went over and watched that for a while.  She is just getting started but is already doing so good!  She could hit the ball and could really throw it too.  Some boys on her team even commented after the practice about what a great arm she has.

We had a lot of fun that we wanted to fit into this weekend while Katie and Candice were there!  After picking Katie up Saturday morning, we stopped at a few yard sales on the way home.  We came across this big bin with filled with ric rak, lace, and other trims.  It looked a lot like mums old  sewing stuff and Candice and I wanted it.  We talked the lady down from 18 to 8 dollars for the whole bin.  We were pretty happy about that.  Camille found a cute froggie planter that she got for her front porch.

When we got home, we changed our clothes and went for a hike.  Camille and Katie had come on a hike to this place before but had ended up not going very far because Katie didn't feel very good. They couldn't remember exactly how they had got there before so we drove around a while looking for the trail head which was extra exciting because her low fuel light had come on a while back and there was no gas station in sight.  We finally found it though and headed up the trail.  Livy wanted to come too and was a trooper.  Camille was toting Emily in the little Bjorn and she was as happy as a clam.  It was a good little hike...not too hard till the end where there was  a little pool and waterfall. Then it was really rocky and steep.  Liv handled it like a champ though.  There were some good hieroglyphics there too.  It was a fun hike and a beautiful warm day.

Camille had heard about this ostrich festival they were having there that weekend and that sounded fun so we decided to go.  Ali was going too, so we were going to meet her and Garrett there. ( ha! terrible picture... felt bad we got there later than planned so we didn't get to spend  very much time with them.  So excited to hear Ali is expecting!)

Getting the best seat for the pig races

Ostriches had already raced when we got there...dang!  After what I learned about ortriches that day, I was glad to be on the other side of the fence from them.
Who doesn't want to ride on a camel?

 and the pony ride...

Then there was the petting zoo...

Top the night off with greasy carnival food and a good time was had by all.
