Camille has a family pass to the Phoenix zoo so one day we decided to go.  It is a really cool zoo with some unique animals.  This stingray pool was really neat.  You could lean over and pet them as they swam by.

Deserty animals like prairie dogs and road runners...beep beep
This was really neat...I took the kids up on this platform where you can feed the giraffes.  This cute lady told us all about the giraffes and gave us lettuce and pellets to feed them.  I learned something new...the giraffe's tongue is dark colored so it doesn't get sunburned when it's reaching up into the tops of the branches for leaves.

I wasn't really making out with this giraffe, but we got pretty close.

That's a mama and baby bear...they don't let you get to close to them.
They love brushing the goats.  I don't know how much the goats like it though.

This zoo is so big you could never see everything in one day.  Good thing they can come back when ever they want!

Emily was just taking it all in.  pb
