The people at the marina at Strawberry called Kelley to let him know it was time to take the boat off the lake. Katie had a friend in town that was going to go up fishing with us and since Kc couldn't come, we were sure grateful for his help in getting the boat off the water. ( Kate and I....not so much help)
We met him up at the lake cause he was coming from Lehi.  He was a really great guy...him and Kelley hit it off right away.  He is quite a fisherman too and has fished at Strawberry a lot. He told us about adventures he has had fishing in Los Barillis too...small world.  He lives in California, but came to Utah for a job working with an adoption agency.  He has had quite an amazing life and it was fun listening to his stories.
It was reeeeeely cold up there.  There was snow in the boat and the wind was blowing pretty good.  Sure am grateful for  the cabin to get out of the wind!

These two were all manly though and stayed out in the cold.
Kate and I would poke our heads out the door every once in a while to act like we were interested.

We weren't having much luck, so Katie started reeling one of the poles in so we could move to a new spot.  As soon as she did, she felt a fish biting!  She kept reeling, but the line got into a big wad and Jimmy and Kelley pulled the fish in with the line!  Ha!  It was a real nice big one too!

Kelley and Jimmy caught  several more fish and we just had a real nice day with them.
Pulling the boat in...we had an appointment to get all the mossy junk power acid washed off the bottom of the boat, but I think the workers up there just gave up... and I don't blame them!  it was super cold and windy!
I hate to see the cold weather come, but I can't complain... we have had a really beautiful fall!
