Our trip to California was really great. The only thing that could have made it better is if Candice could have been there.
The weather was really nice and extra warm! Loved it! I took a ton of pictures ...these are some of my favorites.

Olivia had a great time playing with her friends. Chris and Katie's daughter Amalia is just a little bit older than Olivia. She is very quiet and very sweet. They got along real well.

Caitlin is such a little doll. Her and Olivia had lots of fun playing in the sand.

Jake and Dama came down to the beach on Monday and Tuesday. Their daughter and her family have been coming to Newport with the Wrights for a few years and they decided to join them for a few days. It was fun to visit with them.

This is Candice H. little boy. Him and Olivia were trying to play paddle ball and he was amazing ly good at it. He could hit the ball every time. Liv...not so much.

Olivia was seriously scared to death of the water. All week long she would try to talk herself into going in to the water. It was the funniest thing. We had given up trying to coax her to get her feet wet, but she would keep saying " I'm going to go get in the water...I don't need help. You stay right here, I will be right back" Then she would run up to about 10 feet from the water, look at it for a minute, and run back to us and say..."maybe later".
Then on the last day, she suddenly decided that it was time. From then till we left, she didn't want to get out. Wish I knew what was going on inside that pretty little head of hers.

Cheesecake Factory...Always Yummy!

One of the highlights of the trip was being able to go to the Newport Temple. Shawna had asked Kelley and I to go through with her when she took out her own endowment. It was really special to be there with our dear friends.

Olivia has quite the wonderful imagination. This is her walking her pretend doggie. We had to pick it up carefully and put it in the cart when we went into Target.

Ps: did you try putting the pictures on how I said and just writing under them? Just wondering. XOXO
