Oh hello Mexico!
I was glad Kelley had booked the later shuttle to take us to Los Barrilis, with the incident at the airport, we would have never made it.
Katie and Mark came and picked us up from the shuttle station and took us back to Marks. He gave us a tour of the yard to see how things have grown and changed since we were there last May.
It sure is beautiful there. The flowers and trees are amazing! I've got more pictures of his yard I'll show later.
He set us up in the luxury "garage mahall" room and it was absolutely dreamy. This was the view we'd see every morning...
Day 2 we thought it would be fun to ride down to Punte Pescadaro.
Katie was staying at Anns, so Ann and TA and TA's nephew and his wife all came along too. Oh and there was another couple that was there for a wedding that Ann and TA knew that came along too. That's the nice thing about people in mexico. They are always welcoming, friendly and generous with whatever they have.
This is another great friend Katie has made. Her name is Doreen. She has been so generous with Kate and let her stay in their home whenever she needed to.
Ann is just a peach and I've grown to love her like a sister. She has taken care of Katie and opened up her home to her whenever she is in Mexico. She is very ambitious and works hard with her fabric coverings business. Her and TA have built a little haven and a good life there. Plus she is so down to earth and a hoot to be with. Truly a great lady! I have watched how different people have come into Katie's life, seems like just when she needed them, and have gotten her through some rough times. She is one of those angels.
There's my handsome fella
Cutest little fishes and crabs in the tide pools...
I could spend hours walking along the beach there looking for shells. You don't have to really look at all. There are millions right under your feet. Really cool ones too! Their beauty amazes me...They are so intricate and perfect. God's handiwork is displayed abundantly in this beautiful place! We came home with a big bag of them that took the place of all the treats we took down there in Kelley's back pack. (no way we could have put them in a suitcase...they weighed a ton!)
